The award ceremony, promoted by the Municipality of São João da Madeira, marked the official opening of the business wing of Oliva Creative Factory, located in Zone 2 of Oliva. The event was attended by His Excellency the Minister for Regional Development, Miguel Poiares Maduro.
The programme included a visit to the facilities, the presentation of the Oliva Rewind Award winners and the signing of agreements for the establishment of the first creative companies at the Oliva Creative Factory incubator.

Neste workshop, orientado pela Feltrando Portugal, os participantes irão criar um Bolsa em feltro, um material excedente da indústria da chapelaria da região de São João da Madeira. No final, cada participante poderá levar consigo a sua bolsa.
Este workshop integra o ciclo FELTRANDO – 10 ANOS, UM PERCURSO RUMO À ECONOMIA CIRCULAR, que pretende promover a Economia Circular do Feltro, recuperando antigas tradições técnicas e saberes-fazer através do design e da inovação.

In this workshop, led by Feltrando Portugal, participants will create a felt bag using surplus material from the hat-making industry in the São João da Madeira region. At the end of the workshop, each participant will be able to take their bag home.
This workshop is part of the FELTRANDO – 10 YEARS, A JOURNEY TOWARDS A CIRCULAR ECONOMY cycle, which aims to promote a Circular Economy for Felt by reviving traditional techniques and know-how through design and innovation.ㅤㅤ

A colaboração reforça o papel da Feltrando na valorização e transmissão dos saberes associados ao feltro, aproximando este material do ensino e do design contemporâneo. Os alunos do Curso de Técnico/a de Design de Calçado desenvolveram projetos para a Miss Olive, apresentados juntamente com a coleção-cápsula Miss Olive – Work in Progress.

Partnership with CFPIC – Professional Training Centre for the Footwear Industry of São João da Madeira, as part of Feltrando’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
This collaboration reinforces Feltrando’s role in the preservation, promotion and transmission of knowledge and techniques associated with felt, bringing this material closer to education and contemporary design. Students from the Footwear Design Technician course developed projects for Miss Olive, presented alongside the Miss Olive capsule collection – Work in Progress.

In this workshop, led by @Feltrando Portugal, participants will create a TABLET PLAYSTATION using felt, a waste material from the hat-making industry in the São João da Madeira region. At the end, each participant will take their placemat home.

The workshop introduced participants to the process of weaving with felt, a traditional craft of Portugal’s Northern region, exploring its origins, history, techniques and materials.

Em 2025, a colaboração entre a Feltrando e o CFPIC prossegue, reforçando a aproximação entre o saber-fazer associado ao feltro, a economia circular e o ensino do design contemporâneo. A parceria dá continuidade ao desenvolvimento de propostas para a Miss Olive, envolvendo os alunos do Curso de Técnico/a de Design de Calçado na exploração do feltro enquanto material para o desenvolvimento de novos conceitos e soluções de design.

Continuation of the partnership with CFPIC – Professional Training Centre for the Footwear Industry of São João da Madeira.
In 2025, the collaboration between Feltrando and CFPIC continued, strengthening the connection between felt craftsmanship, circular economy and contemporary design education. The partnership continued to support the development of proposals for Miss Olive, involving students from the Footwear Design Technician course in exploring felt as a material for developing new design concepts and solutions.
This collaboration reaffirms Feltrando’s commitment to knowledge sharing, experimentation and the recognition of felt as a material for innovation and design.

No dia 3 de julho, a Oliva Creative Factory abriu portas para celebrar uma década de criatividade, com um desfile exclusivo dos novos modelos Miss Olive, realizado na área Lounge.
Fundada em 2015 e sediada na Oliva Creative Factory, a Feltrando afirmou-se como um projeto de referência nas Indústrias Criativas. Foi neste contexto que nasceu a Miss Olive, a mala em feltro entrelaçado distinguida, em 2013, com o Oliva Rewind Award, na categoria de Design de Moda — um símbolo de inovação que continua a inspirar novas coleções.

Oliva Creative Factory opens its doors to celebrate a decade of creativity on July 3rd, at 6 pm, in the Lounge area — with an exclusive fashion show of the new Miss Olive models.
Feltrando, founded in 2015 and based at the Oliva Creative Factory, is a benchmark project in Creative Industries. It was here that Miss Olive was born, the handbag made of interwoven felt that won the Oliva Rewind Award in 2013 in the Fashion Design category—a symbol of innovation that continues to inspire new collections.
